Kasey is a long time resident of Niceville and has worked in the veterinary field for fifteen years. She came to Bayside Hospital for Animals in 1999. As the senior receptionist, she strives to ensure the front desk team is organized and prepared to serve our customers in the most efficient and friendly manner possible. Over the years Kasey has formed close relationships with many of our clients, whom she considers members of the "Bayside family." She is seen here with Annie Gross.
Kasey's life-long love of animals has culminated in her living with four cats, Yogi, Boo Boo, Syndie, and Onyx (her tripod kitty) along with a rescued dog, Jolie, who thinks she is really a cat too.
Adding an international flair to front desk operations, Ivka was born and raised in Chile until the age of eight when her family immigrated to the United Kingdom. Ivka worked as a nurse in England until she met her husband, who was serving with the U.S. Air Force, and moved to the United States. Ivka came to work at Bayside Hospital for Animals in 2003, because she was interested in a job that provided her with the opportunity to care for people and their pets. Her compassionate, nuturing nature is evident in all of her customer interactions. Her favorite part of the job is being a member of a team that improves the quality of life for animals and their owners. Ivka often uses her bilingual abilities to help Spanish speaking clients.
To date, Ivka's son has made her the unofficial caretaker of several fish and a guinea pig, but her co-workers think he has been preparing her for something bigger (he promises to feed it and take it for walks.
Growing up in Northern Michigan, Britany decided to escape the cold, relocating to Fort Walton in 2010. She joined the local reception field just a few short years later; with the veterinary field proving to be a rewarding career, as it combines her love of science, people and animals.
Britany joined the Bayside team in January, 2017. She enjoys getting to know clients by name, as well as interacting with critters of all kinds. She is the proud mother of her son, Dominic, two beloved dogs, (Harley and Abby pictured) four quirky cats, and one senior guinea pig named Charlie.
